Maghera Beach in Donegal, Ireland is a beach that will bring tears to your eyes with its sheer beauty. It's as if it was created yesterday! The 'young' dramatic rock formations - large pieces broken off and landed on the beach.
A very large flat tidal beach on the Atlantic Ocean the inlet extends for kms through farm land. Incredible rock formations, 13 caves line the left side of the beach with waterfalls.
You can wander for hours - best to go at low tide to explore the caves and a word of warning - don't swim - the currents on this section of the Atlantic Ocean are deadly!
