Tracing our ancestry footsteps in Country Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, it bought me to the beautiful nearby Colebrooke Park.
History: The Brookes were an Anglo Irish Plantation Family who were granted a large parcel of confiscated land for services in the 1641 Rebellion. Later a marriage between Major Thomas Brooke to Catharine Cole - the estate was named Colebrooke.
Over time this 1,100 property flourished into a beautiful estate.
Having its ups and downs over the centuries and steep death duties, the current owners have lovingly restored the main country house and cottages.
