Lake Lilla Track 1

There are many walking tracks in the National Park at Tasmania's Cradle Mountain region. Ranging from an hour to several days.

This view is from the Lake Lilla Track, near Dove Lake.
A unique landscape of white dead trees against the green and mustard colours of the tuffs of button grasses on this overcast day. Creating a very moody image.
*Some time ago the area used to be logged and logging operators used to ring-bark the trees to die as it was easier to fell dead as opposed to living trees. www.cradlemountain.net
