Glenlough in Country Donegal is one of the remotest corners in Ireland.
There are no paths or signs to show you where to go, so I engaged a local to hike with. We had to wait for good weather as the clouds can roll in quickly disorientating you and you can end up walking off the high cliffs!
It is the largest raised shingle storm beach in Ireland, with 1,000ft cliffs raising from the ocean.
USA artist Rockwell Kent spent a summer in 1929 in an old run down stone farm to paint the majestic scenery of the wild Atlantic Coast line.
Almost ten years later, poet Dylan Thomas rented the same farm house to 'dry out'. the nearest pub was a 10 mile walk over some of the most remote and wildest landscape.
