Description
Relics from rural Australia Series Images by Lexa Harpell.
An old dairy shed in southern New South Wales, Australia held some real treasures.
An old wringer washing machine sits in the corner with handmade broom made of twigs hangs on the wall. It probably still works, although the rubber rollers are dried and cracked with time.
The markings of a working life. I'm fascinated with history and its relics, they evoke stories of a time passed, their life, their work. There is an unspeakable attachment and fascination to our past
