Stone Country in Nourlangie is one of the vast and diverse landscape types in Kakadu National Park.
Walking up the escarpment you could feel the open rockscape drawing the moisture from your body, even in winter. The view from the top overlooks a lush dense treescape and Nourlangie escarpment in the distance.

Kakadu National Park's biodiversity is grand with vast, diverse landscapes, to say the least.
This wilderness has six main landforms— Savannah woodlands, southern hills and ridges, stone country, tidal flats and coast, the wetlands and the outliers.

There are over 860 World Heritage listed sites worldwide. Recognised as places of outstanding value to humanity.

Kakadu National Park is one of only 25 World Heritage sites listed for both cultural and natural values. *Australia has four in this category.
