Description
Scotland Series by Lexa Harpell.
The hilly skyline of Edinburgh Scotland.
As I was approaching the city, my first thought was 'Story book scene'.
The buildings compacted and snug viewed over layers - add the fascinating mix of contrasting historic architecture and you have a picture perfect historical vista to delight they eyes.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site - ref no: 728 - Old and New Towns
Since the 15th century, Edinburgh has been the capitol of Scotland - with a mix of organic Medieval architecture and the beautifully planned Georgian architecture.
Home to the grand Edinburgh Castle which of course sits on top of the highest hill.
