The west coast of Ireland has some of the most dramatic and spectacular coastal scenes Ireland has to offer. In County Donegal, the soaring sea cliffs of Slieve League in the background, and the blunt, sliced coast of Muckross in the foreground.
It is aptly named, The Wild Atlantic Way as the North Atlantic Ocean forces her waters on the cliffs forming the patterns and exposing the rock's colours.
Muckross is a little known town in Donegal County, Ireland. You can see the majestic Slieve League in the distance. At low tide you can climb down and explore the caves. Muckross is a small, quiet and peaceful with stunning scenery. View from the coastline.
