Driving along the back roads from Granny Pass to An Port in Country Donegal, the afternoon sun shone intensely over the countryside from a brief moment illuminating the lake and golden autumn colours. STOP!!! Jumping out of the car and quickly captured this rare brief moment.
After spending 3 months in this rural area, intense sunlight was a rare sight and in my final days, I got to see this magic moment. Ireland has some of the most fascinating and beautiful green landscapes, yet the autumn colours are just spectacular.
