Description
Ireland Rocks Series by Lexa Harpell.
Beautiful green grasses and heather cover the soft folding rocks on Slieve League.
Little known Slieve League -Sliabh Liag - are the highest sea cliffs in Europe.
Rising 1,972 feet from the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast of Donegal, Ireland.
Devoid of the mass tourists, these cliffs have many solitary walks and breathtaking vantage points to view the dramatic cliff faces Ireland is renown for.
As with all high sea cliffs, the weather can turn dramatically with high winds and low lying clouds covering the rocks.
View from the Napoleon Tower looking towards Sligo.
