Description
The Twelve Apostles are situated along 'The Great Ocean Road' near Port Campbell, Victoria and are a major tourist attraction.
Up to 50mts high, they are a collection of limestone stacks which were formed by the eroding of the cliffs by the extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean.
There are only eight stacks left standing as they will all eventually erode by the waves. However new stacks will form over time when the now cliff face erodes.

Some images remain in your mind forever. As you said, 'Travel and leave a legacy in life' . It was 45 years ago this past December when my young bride and I laid eyes on the Ocean Road. Thank you for this, and congratulations as artist of the week, 1000 views group !
