Tantalising Tasmania Series by Lexa Harpell.
Bull kelp is a thick, strong kelp which appears in large 'gardens' on the foreshores of Tasmania and Victoria, Australia.
Aptly named as it is very large and so strong you can not tear it and difficult to cut with a knife. I've actually cut some into circles the size of a small dinner place, curled it into a bowl and allowed it to dry no odour. Viola peanut bowl!
